01 / THE PROJECT

A neighborhood garden,
starting at the curb.

This project began with a neglected patch of parkway and a simple idea: give that ground some care, and make room for native plants.

We’re the residents tending this small stretch of the neighborhood. Our plan is to replace the existing grass and weeds with a considered planting of native wildflowers and grasses.

For now, the most helpful thing is to give the area space. Preparation is part of the garden, too.

    Clear & define

    Remove existing weeds, plan the garden boundary, and make the purpose of the space visible.

  2. BEFORE PLANTING

    Prepare & choose

    Address returning weeds and choose native plants suited to the site’s light, soil, and street conditions.

  3. 2027 Planned

    Plant & establish

    Begin planting, water as needed, and keep tending the garden as it takes hold.
